Climate change threatens Australia's economy, environment and standard of living. We are one of the biggest per person and business emitters of greenhouse pollution in the world.

In addition to government policies to reduce emissions, individuals and business can take further action to become more environmentally sustainable by reducing consumption (energy efficiency, using public transport); buying green electricity and using low emission fuels; and finally purchasing carbon offsets.
